What is the cost to obtain my license?  The real question should be "What is the cost of NOT obtaining our license. " The average commission is $7000.  By not obtaining a license it could cost you thousands of dollars a month!

Real Estate school costs vary, the average is about $400.  After completing the courses there is $100 fee to take the state exam, $65 for fingerprinting and background check, and $125 license fee.  At that point you are legal to accept commissions.

How long does it take to get obtain my license? You will be ready to take your state exam in as little as 2 weeks by attending class 3 hours a day and doing the appropriate assignments.

Can I take the class at home?  Homes study courses are available.  We have found that students learn better and obtain the material with a live instructor.  At the Real Estate School of Nevada we offer both to meet everyone's needs and schedules.

What do you do after you pass the tests?  Congratulations!!!  Now it is time to interview a broker.  In choosing a broker, we found that there are 6 things that are important to new sales executives.

1. Name recognition

2. Training/Mentoring

3. Broker support

4. Tools and systems

5. Staff support

6. Professional facilities and prime locations.

Once you have chosen a broker the last step is filling out your State paper work and returning it to the division.  We recommend it is hand carried.  Assuming you have already submitted your fingerprints your license will be here in 2-4 weeks.

What do you do if you fail one of the tests?  Don't be discouraged. Review the questions to find out why you missed them.  We have found that if you learn the underlying principal of why, you will never miss that question again.

How do you find a company to hang my license at? Real Estate School of Nevada offers job placement.  Don't look for a company that promises leads and high commissions.  Look for a company that has a proven track record.  A new Real Estate Agent needs a company that has proven systems and tools that generate leads and helps you convert your leads to closed transactions.  Coldwell Banker Wardley Real Estate has said there are 6 things to insure your success:

Name recognition

Training and Mentoring

Now that you are licensed...it is time to learn how to sell real estate.

We have experienced that the best way is through a spaced learning program.

You would meet periodically to receive training from an experienced real estate agent.  You would receive assignments that will help implement that training. And you will fill out an accountability report on assignments and review the results  We have found this way is the most effective and best way to learn a new skill.  Training is imperative in order to be successful in your new career.
